Maureen S. Hoffman: Maureen became Executive Director of SVCA in January 2002 after serving as the Office Manager for three years. She and her husband Paul developed the SVCA's GIS Support Center which provides mapping services to local non-profit groups and government agencies. Maureen was instrumental in the expansion of the SVCA's land protection activities and provides leadership to land trusts across the state through her activities with the Maine Land Trust Network and other statewide efforts. She has a broad range of experience including eight years as an engineer testing aircraft engines, designing software programs for small business and eight years consulting for the legal profession and managing a law office.
Lynne Flaccus: Lynne became the SVCA's Programs Manager in 2011. Lynne is an environmental educator, wildlife rehabilitator, administrator and was the Head Naturalist at the Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Vermont and leads extended canoe trips throughout Maine's Allagash Wilderness Waterway and the George River in Labrador. Lynne has a passion for turtles and her enthusiasm for the natural world is contagious. She lives with her family along the Sheepscot River in Alna.
Kristin Pennock: Kristin became SVCA's Administrative Assistant in February of 2002. She has a degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine, Orono and has spent numerous summers on Maine coastal islands working with seabird populations for National Audubon's Seabird Restoration Program. Between summer field seasons she gained various job experiences from organic farming to bird banding to carpentry. She is an enthusiastic birder who can identify many birds by song and volunteers for Mountain Birdwatch and Audubon's Christmas Bird Count. She is currently a board member of Mid-Coast Audubon and of the Hidden Valley Nature Center. She lives with her family in Whitefield.
